SV	Maar Joseba, de dochter van den koning Joram, de zuster van Ahazia, nam Joas, den zoon van Ahazia, en stal hem uit het midden van des konings zonen, die gedood werden, [zettende] hem en zijn voedster in een slaapkamer; en zij verborgen hem voor Athalia, dat hij niet gedood werd.
WLC	וַתִּקַּ֣ח יְהֹושֶׁ֣בַע בַּת־הַמֶּֽלֶךְ־יֹ֠ורָם אֲחֹ֨ות אֲחַזְיָ֜הוּ אֶת־יֹואָ֣שׁ בֶּן־אֲחַזְיָ֗ה וַתִּגְנֹ֤ב אֹתֹו֙ מִתֹּ֤וךְ בְּנֵֽי־הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [הַמַּמֹותְתִים כ] (הַמּ֣וּמָתִ֔ים ק) אֹתֹ֥ו וְאֶת־מֵינִקְתֹּ֖ו בַּחֲדַ֣ר הַמִּטֹּ֑ות וַיַּסְתִּ֧רוּ אֹתֹ֛ו מִפְּנֵ֥י עֲתַלְיָ֖הוּ וְלֹ֥א הוּמָֽת׃
Trans.	watiqq^aḥ yəhwōšeḇ^a‘ baṯ-hammeleḵə-ywōrām ’ăḥwōṯ ’ăḥazəyâû ’eṯ-ywō’āš ben-’ăḥazəyâ watiḡənōḇ ’ōṯwō mitwōḵə bənê-hammeleḵə hammāmwōṯəṯîm hammûmāṯîm ’ōṯwō wə’eṯ-mêniqətwō b^aḥăḏar hammiṭṭwōṯ wayyasətirû ’ōṯwō mipənê ‘ăṯaləyâû wəlō’ hûmāṯ:

AC	ב ותקח יהושבע בת המלך יורם אחות אחזיהו את יואש בן אחזיה ותגנב אתו מתוך בני המלך הממותתים (המומתים)--אתו ואת מינקתו בחדר המטות ויסתרו אתו מפני עתליהו ולא הומת
ASV	But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him away from among the king's sons that were slain, even him and his nurse, [and put them] in the bedchamber; and they hid him from Athaliah, so that he was not slain;
BE	But Jehosheba, the daughter of King Joram, sister of Ahaziah, secretly took Joash, the son of Ahaziah, with the woman who took care of him, away from among the king's sons who were put to death, and put him in the bedroom; and they kept him safe from Athaliah, so that he was not put to death.
Darby	But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, the sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, [and hid] him and his nurse in the bedchamber; and they hid him from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.
ELB05	Aber Joseba, die Tochter des Königs Joram, die Schwester Ahasjas, nahm Joas, den Sohn Ahasjas, und stahl ihn weg aus der Mitte der Königssöhne, die getötet wurden, und tat ihn und seine Amme in das Schlafgemach; und so verbargen sie ihn vor Athalja, und er wurde nicht getötet.
LSG	Mais Joschéba, fille du roi Joram, soeur d'Achazia, prit Joas, fils d'Achazia, et l'enleva du milieu des fils du roi, quand on les fit mourir: elle le mit avec sa nourrice dans la chambre des lits. Il fut ainsi dérobé aux regards d'Athalie, et ne fut point mis à mort.
Sch	Joscheba aber, die Tochter des Königs Joram, Ahasias Schwester, nahm Joas, den Sohn Ahasias, und stahl in weg aus der Mitte der Königssöhne, die getötet wurden, und tat ihn samt seiner Amme in eine Schlafkammer; und sie verbargen ihn vor Atalia, daß er nicht getötet wurde.
